This conference is intended to present the most current research and application for clinical nutrition practice areas for the care of infants and children and will be of interest to staff at Children’s Colorado, community physicians, nurses, dietitians and other multidisciplinary healthcare providers.

• Discuss the management and multidisciplinary
team approach for neonatal nutrition in the NICU
and post discharge.
• Improve ability to assess, identify, and diagnose malnutrition in pediatric patients.
• Review the evolving role of food based formula
usage in pediatric nutrition.
• Explain different types of breast milk fortification, infant and pediatric formulas and feeding criteria for each.
