Tri-County Health Department’s Nutrition Division, has an opening for a part-time Registered Dietitian – Peak Wellness. The successful candidate will provide individualized counseling and education around lifestyle modifications to increase physical activity, promote health eating, prevent and manage chronic disease. Create care plans and documentation using nutrition care process format. Participate in multidisciplinary team. May teach group classes.
Minimum Education and Experience: Graduation from a four year college or university with a bachelors’ degree in foods and nutrition, public health nutrition or dietetics, and Commission on Dietetic Registration eligibility. Must have own vehicle for occasional local travel. Spanish language skills desired but not required. Prefer 3-5 years experience as an RD in a hospital or public health setting.
