Tri-County Health Department’s Nutrition Division, has an opening for a full-time Community Dietitian. The successful candidate will facilitate activities within the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC), including supervising staff, and providing high risk nutrition counseling to WIC program participants. Other duties include promoting and supporting breastfeeding, assisting with outreach, and working on special interest projects to promote better nutritional status of residents of Adams, Arapahoe and Douglas counties in Colorado Minimum Education and Experience: Graduation from a four year college or university with a bachelors’ degree in foods and nutrition, public health nutrition or dietetics, and Commission on Dietetic Registration eligibility. Must have own vehicle for occasional local travel. Spanish language skills desired but not required. Must have own vehicle for occasional local travel. Mileage reimbursement provided.
