| The primary purpose of this position is to evaluate resident nutritional needs, resident care and facility practice, provide recommendations in these areas and assist facilities with implementing recommendations in accordance with federal, state and local regulations.
Qualifications for the position are:
•Active Registered Dietitian status with the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association and ability to meet on-going continuing education requirements as established by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
•Must have a minimum of three years experience as a dietitian in the health care field with long-term care experience
•Must have experience with TPN monitoring and oversight
•Experience in a management role or in the capacity of a RD health care consultant handling multiple facilities
•Bachelor’s Degree in Nutritional Services, Human Services or related field
•Knowledge of State and Federal Long Term Care regulations
•Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel within Colorado and out of state
